Aircraft

Celata Aircraft has always taken pride in providing parts and service for some of the most legendary aircraft ever designed. Celata Aircraft has secured all the original drawings and tooling, and in some cases molds, to support the homebuilt community with the highest quality components, designed, engineered, and manufactured with absolute excellence.

George Pereira:
For over 40 years, George Pereira, designer of the GP-4 and GP-2 and others, has been designing and building aircraft with the homebuilt experimental enthusiast in mind. His designs have been celebrated by builders worldwide for their simplicity and quality of design.

Stelio Frati:
Stelio Frati was an Italian designer and mechanical engineer. He engineered a series of 23 designs, including the Falco F.4 and the Falco F.8L. He also taught aircraft design for many years. His best-known design, the F.8L is sometimes called the “Ferrari of the air.”

Burt Rutan:
Over the past 40 plus years, Burt Rutan has been aviation’s most prolific engineer and aircraft designer. He is well-known for his design of the Voyager, which in 1986, was the first plane to fly around the world without stopping or refueling, and the Virgin Atlantic GlobalFlyer, which in 2006, set the world record for the fastest and farthest non-stop circumnavigation flight.

Osprey GP-4
GP-4 Stiletto: Fast cross county, easy build, fast build kits.
The Osprey GP-4 is the most popular design in a series of aircraft designs by George Pereira. It is a high-performance, cross-country type plane, designed to extract the most speed from the available power, while still keeping building costs within reasonable limits.
With two 200 lb. people, 75 pounds of baggage, and 52 gallons of fuel, the GP-4 will cruise at 240 mph for 1,200 miles (plus reserve). Fuel burn is less than 11 gallons per hour on a typical trip.

Falco
Falco F.8L: Fast cross county, easy build, fast build kits.
From the day it first flew in 1955, the Falco has been called “the Ferrari of the air”. This Italian design is sleek, strong, agile, and fast. A twin-seat with a bubble canopy for all-around visibility, it’s an outstanding cross-country plane with a thousand-mile range and full IFR capability… and it’s fast. A few examples have even topped 230 mph–on the standard 160 HP engine.

Osprey 2
GP-2 Lake Clipper: An easy build kit, designed as a fishing plane.

The Osprey GP-2 is a two-place amphibian with retractable landing gear. The wings, just outboard of the main gear, are removable for towing and home storage. Side-by-side seating provides the hull width necessary for adequate flotation and efficient water performance. The Osprey GP-2 is roomy for two large people and baggage behind the seats. The sloping canopy was designed to allow a smooth airflow into the propeller and provide good visibility. When beaching, the pedestal-style instrument panel allows you to step out over the nose onto the beach.

Long Easy
Long EZ/Cozy: The plane, the myth, the legend, the one and only.
Celata Aircraft now offers exclusive parts and support for the Long EZ/Cozy Canard line of aircraft, inspired by Burt Rutan himself.

quickie-012
Tri-Q2: Kits, parts, quick build kits
Over the past 40 plus years, Burt Rutan has been aviation’s most prolific engineer and aircraft designer. Now, it is with great pride that Celata Aircraft offers exclusive parts and support for the Q and Q200 line of aircraft, inspired by Burt Rutan himself. Celata Aircraft has secured all the original drawings, molds, and tooling to support the Q community.

Carbon Beaver: In the works, original plans purchased.
The Carbon Beaver will be offered for commercial/recreation applications.
Celata Aircraft plans to offer the Carbon Beaver at cost to missionary aviators working remotely.
Celata Aircraft is looking for Angel investors for this project.
